A big thank you to all our volunteers, donors and friends. With your help, we have been able to send 120 books out to 32 states. Each book was customized for a kid with a serious illness/disease to help them get more comfortable with their medical procedures, big and small. Feel free to look back at our posts to see some of the kids we have helped.
In addition, we have given out over 75 treat bags with toys, gift certificates and candy for families who have to spend a holiday at the hospital. Our toy drive supplied more than 150 toys to the Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Iowa City, IA.
We are thankful for all of our friends and family, for the time we had with Levi, and to all of you reading this post. We hope your day is fill with love and joy.

Reid was 5 years old when he died and went to the Angels Playground. He had been battling cancer for 3 years. On earth, he loved his family and everything to do with garbage trucks. He loved watching the trucks, playing with toy trucks, and even sorting recycling from garbage. We will remember Reid finding happiness in all things even trash.
